Life through another looking glass.

October 31:

Today's little pink envelope is filled with a whole bunch of nothing. Lately I have been wanting a penpal. Someone who I can talk to and send little packages back and forth with. It sounds silly but I just think that learning and being involved in someones life in such a stand still capacity is lovely. Everything is so matter of fact all of a sudden and i wish that it wasn't  always that way. So how do we create little captures of someones life. And where do we find these people that capture these moments. Well Im at a loss. I tried PostCrossing but I want more communication that just a simple glimpse of small talk into someone's life. I want something that makes a bigger impact. Changes the way I view things. Shed a new light on life. I dont know. Sounds stupid right? This is what I am thinking about on Halloween instead of carving pumpkins and handing out candy to the kids in my neighborhood. Maybe it is because most of the time I feel like I am at such a disconnect with the majority of my peers. Does anyone have any advise on finding a person I can converse with?

Changes in life.

October 16: 

I dont think I have mentioned yet that I work at Walt Disney World. I have worked there in some capacity for 3 years or so. It is a fun place to work 75% of the time. I am looking into going seasonal and then getting a new job as well until the summer is here. I only have 8 classes left on my AA and the amount of work that is required for me to finish it is so much harder if I am here in Orlando. So due to recent events in my personal life I have been thinking that I will move back with my mom and finish those 8 classes in the fall 2013 and the spring of 2014. I will have worked enough hours with disney in spring of 2013 I will not have to worry about making constant trips back and forth to Orlando to finish my hours. Granted this is just one plan but it is the one that makes the most sense in finishing my AA to the transfer to UCF sooner rather than later.

Visitor this weekend

October 14th:

So it is the middle of October and my mom came into town for a lovely little visit. It kicked started my motivation towards so many things and made me feel much better. I didnt feel so run down and locked in. I tried signing up for classes but i havent found the correct codes for the classes i need but i do have a breakdown of how everything needs to play out. So hopefully things will work out. My mom bought me shorts from J.Crew because even though it is October here in Florida it is still short weather. I am interested about where this blog may be going but I am on the way to get everything situated for my ETSY shop.

October 10th:

Everyone knows what Pinterest is correct? Well I have a ton of different boards on my pinterest [here] and one of them is a photo booth board. It is filled with all different props for a photo booth. I think they are wonderful. I am the type of person who if I had the money there would be a themed party once a month.

But anyways I am always looking for different props and stuff because I think it would be so neat to have a photo booth in the basement of my home. With Different themed background and props so that it was never the same and everyone could always make it there own. The booze and food and photo booth... Amazing. I just think it is a nice little favor without requiring a whole bunch of work and it doesnt take up a whole bunch of pointless space on the counter... Everything can just go on the fridge. :) Anyways I love pretty backdrops and props. There are a number of different ways this can work and for a while i use to dream of having my own little shop with a photo booth type set up in the window so that people could see the photo booth and then when someone was inside pull black curtians and have a sign that says Photo booth in the works.. inquire inside.

Anyways I think it would be uber cute to have in a party type setting. Don't cha think? Well it is years off. and I just like dreaming.

The beginning

Day 1: 

I dont know where this blog is going. I dont know where it is going to end up. I just wanted a place where I was able to store my thoughts without feeling like there was an ending of the world. Does that makes sense. Anyways. Here it is. Little Pink Envelopes. I am in this sort of middle zone but over the next few weeks I will be slowly developing ideas for things for my etsy shop. Feedback is welcome. There isnt really going to be a direction just ideas and things that i enjoy and feel interested in making. Today was one of those days that makes me redirect myself. After the holiday season I will be going seasonal at my current job and then things around here will probably go into full bloom. We will see. For now just send me ideas or things you might be interested in seeing. Thanks so much :)
